Chef Christopher Kostow and Martina Kostow are opening their third Loveski location in the Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco.
This winter, Team Kostow will become caretakers of what has been Postscript Café for the past three years. Loveski Jackson Square will open with a refreshed interior and new menu, allowing guests the opportunity to enjoy Loveski’s freshly baked bagels- recently voted #1 in a blind tasting by The San Francisco Chronicle- along with their signature sandwiches, salads, and soups. Loveski will also feature robust market offerings, including a refrigerated “grab & go” section and specialty larder selections. Guests will still be able to enjoy Postscript beverage offerings, including the coffee, smoothies, and juices the Jackson Square community has come to know and love.
Christopher and Martina had been looking for the right opportunity to expand into San Francisco for some time- with Loveski stores already in Napa and Marin, they knew this space would be the perfect location to grow their specialty deli concept within the Bay Area. They’re thrilled to join the Jackson Square and downtown community and are excited to meet their new neighbors and patrons.
Gina and Stuart Peterson, the founders of Postscript Café, will be shifting their focus from running a full café to concentrating on growing their Postscript Coffee roasting and wholesale business. Both parties immediately recognized the natural fit for Loveski- shared values, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to honoring the legacy of the space has made the partnership feel effortless. As CEO of Postscript Coffee, Gina will continue to roast within the Jackson Square space and continue to be a presence within the community.
